Signal Processing Cup

MathWorks is sponsoring the Signal Processing Cup (SP Cup), an undergraduate student competition organized by IEEE Signal Processing Society.

SP Cup provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to form teams to solve a challenging and interesting real-world problem using signal processing techniques.

Three teams will be selected to present their work and to receive prizes awarded at ICASSP 2019.

Hear from the 2017 winning team that used MATLAB and Signal Processing Toolbox to implement state-of-the-art beat tracking algorithms and benchmark their performance against various revisions of their own in-house algorithms.

Jeremy Bell, Angus Keatinge, and James Wagner of The University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney) discuss their team’s winning entry to the IEEE Signal Processing Cup 2017.
