BAJA SAEINDIA 2027 (including eBAJA & aBAJA 2027 and Mathworks Electric Powertrain Simulation Challenge)

BAJA SAEINDIA is a premier intercollegiate engineering design competition where student teams conceptualize, design, build, and test single-seat all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). Organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers India, the competition features four categories that reflect evolving mobility technologies: mBAJA (internal combustion), eBAJA (electric), hBAJA (alternative clean-energy solutions such as hydrogen blends), and aBAJA (autonomous, driverless vehicles). Teams are evaluated through static events, including design, cost, and business presentations, as well as dynamic events that test acceleration, maneuverability, and endurance. The competition bridges classroom learning with real-world engineering, helping students develop technical expertise, teamwork, and project management skills.
