Description
The UVify IFO-S drone platform is a versatile and intelligent drone that is designed to cater to a wide range of applications. The drone is equipped with an NVIDIA Jetson platform that enables users to run several neural networks in parallel for applications such as image classification, object detection, segmentation, and speech processing. The drone also features Intel® RealSense™ cameras that provide indoor navigation and obstacle avoidance capabilities. The drone's GPS control and RTK GNSS ensure accurate positioning and precise navigation. The drone's robust Wi-Fi and standalone Wi-Fi® module with an optimized antenna position ensure a reliable communication link between the drone and a ground control station. The drone's PX4®-supported modular flight controller is integrated with a companion computer and Wi-Fi, making it computer vision ready.
End users include researchers, search and rescue operators, and more. The drone's ability to run multiple neural networks in parallel makes it suitable for researchers who need to process large amounts of data. The drone's compatibility with payloads such as Intel RealSense D435/D435i and T265 makes it suitable for applications such as 3D mapping, inspection, among others.
The UVify IFO-S drone platform is integrated with MATLAB® using the UAV Toolbox Support Package for PX4 Autopilots. This package enables users to deploy and verify algorithms on the UVify IFO-S drone platform with NVIDIA Jetson as the onboard computer. Simulink® is required for users who want to simulate with or deploy flight controller models. The package provides a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation environment that enables users to perform HIL simulation of UAV dynamics and sensors. It also provides a co-simulation framework for UAVs that lets users perform scenario visualization in the Unreal Engine.
