Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, will be responsible for writing components of technical documentation for engineering products; creating written content for software products related to powertrain and ADAS/AD control systems; writing user-focused content that explains how to use tools to design, model, and simulate engineering systems; and developing examples and tutorials that show how to use software features that span multiple products.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no experience.

OR

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as an Engineering Technical Writer (or related occupation) in technical writing for advanced driver assist systems (ADAS) / automated driving (AD) control systems.

 

Special Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise developing technical documentation on communication systems and analog/digital electronics.
  • Demonstrated expertise writing technical reports on electrical engineering topics -- wireless systems and communication systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB and Simulink.
