Symlet wavelet filter

Syntax

f = symwavf(wname)

Description

f = symwavf(wname) returns the scaling filter associated with the Symlet wavelet specified by wname. f is a real-valued vector.

Scaling Filter Associated With the Symlet Wavelet

Specify the order 4 Symlet wavelet.

wname = 'sym4';

Compute the corresponding scaling filter.

f = symwavf(wname);

Input Arguments

wname — Symlet wavelet

'symN'

Symlet wavelet with N vanishing moments, where N is a positive integer in the closed interval [1, 45].
