Originally from Apulia, Italy. Master and PhD in EE and Automation from Pisa university (with periods at Strathclyde University Georgia Tech). Faculty at WVU (UAV flight control group) from 2000 to 2008. Main research areas: Control of nonlinear systems, system identification, fault tolerance. Published a bit more than 100 articles in journals and conferences, and a couple of book chapters. Working for MathWorks since January 2009, first in the Los Angeles office and then in Natick (MA). Current role: documentation for the RL and MPC toolboxes.
