I cannot log into my account since the patch release. I cannot install the patch either. Anyone else facing the same issue?

Nothing that I can announce, unfortunately.
MATLAB does not say the reason of the delay, but I would guess it is caused by the dark theme/interface they have been working on for years.
Who cares about a dark theme? That can hardly be the problem.
Lots of people care about a dark theme, but you are right that it's not the driver of the delay. See my comment below.
R2025a is delayed while we finalize the release. I don't have more details to share on when to expect the release.
In the meantime, users who are eager to take advantage of the new features of R2025a can use the prerelease. We recently released update 5, which addresses much of the feedback we have heard from prerelease users.
The patch is one month late. I suggest that MATLAB would postpone or just cancel all together the dark theme they have been struggling with for years. We can survive without it. I understand it is a competitive feature, but it is not worth the delay.
R2025a is about a lot more than dark theme - it includes a new desktop and graphics system. There are a lot of visible changes like the figure toolstrip and new side panels for managing desktop tools, and even more changes behind the scenes, with a reimplementation of the desktop and graphics with web-friendly technology (JavaScript/HTML instead of Java).
Well I paid for matlab at 29 april So I would have access to matlab 2025a as well. Now since there is delay, I will not be able to have access to matlab 2025a.
This should be compensated
Yep, I updated my MATLAB Home product subscription for the next year presumming that 25a was already released, but alas it is not. I will be more careful not to make that mistake again next time.
