Buffer and enable in simulink

Put buffer block and enable in a subsystem. Suppose step = 1, buffersize = 9 and enable signal is effective in 1.5s ~ 9.5s. So I want to buffer the data in 1.5s ~ 9.5s. But the outputs are all 0. What is the problem? How to solve it?

I see the output correctly propagated when I tried simulating such a model. Can you place a snapshot of what you're doing?
