DAVID MATAJIRA-RUEDA received the B.Eng. degree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Industrial de Santander (Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia) in 2015, the M.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering (Instrumentation and Digital Systems) from the Universidad de Guanajuato (Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico) in 2017, and the D.Eng degree in Electrical Engineering also from the Universidad de Guanajuato (Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico) in 2022. His research interests include optimization algorithms (heuristic and metaheuristic), operations research, modeling and simulation, optimal-inverse design, data processing, applied mathematics, numerical methods, numerical analysis, bioengineering, thermodynamics, and the inverse heat transfer problem.
