Does the Statistics Toolbox support duration data models or hazard models?

"Duration data" in economics is the same as reliability data in engineering
or survival data in biological sciences. Hazard models are models that
deal with the instantaneous risk of failing.

This enhancement has been incorporated in Release 14 Service Pack 3 (R14SP3). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
The Statistics Toolbox has functions that can implement duration data models. For details, refer to the following solution:
The distribution fitting tool (DFITTOOL) can compute and display the cumulative hazard function. For future releases, we have asked our development staff to consider adding the hazard rate as an additonal output, and also supporting Cox's proportional hazard regression.
