Is it possible to plot in matlab the mesh and results of a Finite element analysis of a complex structure?

Writing a finite element code for a structure implied to mesh the structure and then calculate the quantities of interest, for examples contourplots indicating the von-mises stresses or deformation of a complex structures. Therefore, i would like to understand if it exists a way to visualize whether the mesh and the final results of the FE analysis. That would be great
