SimEvent Modeling Inventory Syntax

Hi all,

 I just started working with SimEvent and I can not exactly transform my inventory problem into queueing format to model it with SimEvent. All i need for start is a normal inventory along with an ordering function that is not perfect and I will have backorder or surplus. I can not figure out how I can transform Kanban Example to what I need. Later I will need to include lead time and cost of each transaction. My order number is being generated from a .m file with a big algorithm.
