How to remove unwanted region/area (highlighted) from binary image?

Hello, I want to remove the highlighted/encircled region (Vertical and horizental straight line) from the attached binary image which are actually not cracks but the busbars of a solar panel. my main target is to find the percentage of cracks only.

Any help will be appreciated.
