Converting image from 2d to 3d

Hi Miss Maha... Hope you are fine. I have also project on image processing in which I have to convert 2d image to 3d in Matlab then further processing on that 3d image is required for my project. I try to get some help about converting 2d to 3d image form internet then I saw your posted question, It is very similar to my first step and you got an answer of how to convert 2d image into 3d in Matlab. Will you please tell me how you convert 2d image into 3d. Any code material from your side so that I can do my further processing about my project. Waiting for your precious response... I'm not Miss Maha - am I still allowed to answer? If so I'd maybe suggest

image3D = cat(3, image2D, image2D, image2D);

otherwise, just ignore my answer or ask me to remove it.
