Bold indexes do not allow to properly see variable space

Hello everyone,
I have been experiencing this "problem" for quite some time now. I don't know if I have changed any definition, but the layout for the variable workspace is somewhat ruined because the indexes are in bold form and are undistinguishable, as you can see in the image below. Starting from the index 100, I cannot tell what index is what number.
What can I do to fix it? I have seen that there is a 2017's thread in this forum with the same content, yet the solution given there envolved putting the mouse over the line that separates the index column and the first entry and pulling it, yet that is not possible to do.

There are two potential workarounds to the issue to resolve it.
1. When you see the Variable Editor in this state, you can try toggling the Font preferences. You can go to Preferences/Fonts/Custom, then select "Variables" in the table. Then, you can select "Custom" font and hit Apply. The Variable Editor will update to show that new font. Then, you can go back to "Desktop Text" and hit apply.
2. In MATLAB R2023b, we have a new Desktop Beta available. This may also resolve this issue because it has a new user interface for the Variable Editor. The following link has the page it can be downloaded from:
