using the tsmovavg function

Hi all, I am trouble using the function named tsmovavg.

output = tsmovavg(tsobj, 's', lag)

tsobj = Financial time series object.

Now how do we treat tsobj? I have prices in a matrix size 4048x1......how can i turn it into a "financial time series object"?
