References for Laser Toolbox for MATLAB?

   I am looking for alternative references other than MATLAB Laser Toolbox User Manual, that helps me understand the derivation of the equations that are used in the MATLAB scripts, namely for the temperature models (specifically TSURFSRC and the Multi-integration). Please help? Thank you.
