unable to generate HDL code with Matlab 2011a

Hi,

I have Matlab 2011a, and HDL Coder.

When I got to file -> new -> Code Generation Project, the new window does not have "type" field. And all I get is C/C++ project.

Any idea?

P.S. if it matters, I have Xilinx Vivado 2013.2 installed.

Support for HDL Code Generation from MATLAB code was not added to HDL Coder until R2012a. See the HDL Coder Release Notes for reference. In R2011a HDL Code generation is limited to Simulink models.
