Is there any close instruction associated with a datasore

Is there a close associated with a datastore() (any of the many types). I am accustomed to the regualr databases where there is a open, write, read , and finally a close instruction. i see a write at the creation stage, a datastore as an open (to a table structure), a read to read into the app. I guess writing data to that table ought to be enough. May i know this for a Talldatasore(), in particular.

I don't believe so. I don't think it's really "opening" any database, it's just collecting a bunch of information. You could always delete the variable with delete or clear if you want

imds = imageDatastore(........
    % Do stuff with imds, then...
clear('imds'); % When you're all done with it.
