Boundary conditions with pde solver

I would like to implement the following boundary conditions in the simulation of an adsorption fixed bed:
t >0 x=0 (column inlet) u=uo (40 mg/L, initial composition)
t >0 x=L (column outlet) du/dx=0 (no flux)
