Windows C compiler for MATLAB 64-bit version

Dear forum users,

I am running 64-bit MATLAB on a 64-bit windows operating system. I need to be able to compile mex-files. However, i tried several guides but cannot get the system to work. Can anyboy help me with finding a simple way to install a compiler for mex files written in C?

1) what do you mean by "cannot get the system to work"?

2) Have you installed a supported compiler? A list of supported compilers can be found here. Do not forget to select the appropriate MATLAB release: http://www.mathworks.com/support/compilers/R2013a/index.html

3) Have you executed any functions in MATLAB that give you any errors?
