Approximation of data with exponential.

I have about a million points in an array.

I would like to divide the graph into intervals and approximate with an exponential curve.

they are measurements coming from a sensor. when the graph value is zero, the sensor detects a fault. the X value is time, the Y value is acceleration. How is possible to approximating each line between two zeros?
