Centrifugal Pump (IL) Predefined Parameterization

Looking at the online help on Centrifugal Pump (IL),

it seems there are some Predefined Parameterization avaible WOW .. that sonds great.

Is this a new feature coming with 2020b release?

Is it possible to know how this parametrization come to the user? Are these a set of parameter in a text file or what else?

This feature is available starting 2020b. The list of predefined pumps is growing but it may not include the exact one you want. So it may still be worthwhile to learn about the Parameter Estimation tool, which is part of the Simulink Design Optimization toolbox: https://www.mathworks.com/help/sldo/parameter-estimation.html

To populate the pump block with predefined parameters, just double click on the pump block, there is a link above the settings tab. It will open a GUI to guide you through the steps.
