Why matlab 2018b crashes with an internal problem on Mac OS 10.14.6 even when nothing runs

I recently installed matlab2018b on my macbook pro14.1. I can always open it smoothly and run some code, but now and then it crashed with the same report even when I actually did nothing, see below, and I checked my OpenGL version is 4.1 intel-12.10.12. Donnot know if this could be the problem. Also I initially installed Matlab with Chinese as prefered language, and changed it to English later, but in the crash reports there were still unrecognized Chinese characters and I also cannot open the crash files, which seemed broken.
