Hi everyone,
I am about to run an experiment, in which participant looks at stimuli on the laptop monitor, makes decision about the stimuli and enters the decision using the keyboard.
During the each run, besides the behavioral data (decision entered via keyboard), participant's EEG and pupil data (gaze direction, pupil diameter, etc) are also being recorded.
I need to send triggers (trial number, stimulus onset/offset, etc.) to both my EEG device (Brain Vision) and my eye tracking device (Pupil Core) during each run.
I need to know the MATLAB r2020b functions and their arguments for this purpose.
Thanks a lot.

Pupil Core uses network connections. They provide Python source so it is probably easiest to call the Python within MATLAB.

Do you know what Python functions I have to call, and how?

talks about interfacing matlab to Brainamp devices. You would attach the usb adapter provided with Brainamp Standard to the Brain Recording software and configure it to know the appropriate device. That will read the data by USB without you having to know how it does it. Then you can use tcp to connect to the recorder. Fieldtrip provides matlab software for that purpose.
