Gui , add İmage on figure

Hi all

    N.fg = figure('Units','Pix',...
    'position',[300 200 600 400],...
    'color',[1 1 1],...
    'menubar','none',...
    'name','Help',...
    'numbertitle','off',...
    'resize','off');

    N.image_main = imread('nature.jpg');
    imshow(N.image_main)

when I do this, the edges is blank.

How to add background picture ?

imshow(N.image_main,'Border','tight','InitialMagnification','fit')

or create axes befor imshow

axes('units','pix','position',[0 0 400 600])
