How to increase table size according to the input data (with GUI)

I want to have a GUI table and the table size will be set according to the data I set in it. Is it possible or do I need to set the table size when I build it?

Yes, the uitable is "resized" depending on data. Try

    figure, t = uitable;
    set(t,'Data',magic(10))
    set(t,'Data',magic(12))

In this case two columns and rows are added. If needed scroll-bars are added.

With the property, position, it is possible to change the size of the area used by uitable. Doc says:

    Position

    position rectangle

    Size and location of uitable. The rectangle defined by this property specifies
    the size and location of the table within the parent figure window, ui, or 
    uibuttongroup.
