I want to use Aspentech IP.21 data to hourly perform advanced calculations for losses in cooling. How to best do it?

We have an Aspen Tech IP.21 production db that save measurements regularly (varies from s to hourly) and we want to perform calculation on that data using Matlab.
You need a trigger when to start the calculation
You need to connect to data and use it in Matlab
We whant the result to be sent back to IP.21

You can try this Aspen Plus - MATLAB connector that someone posted on File Exchange, but isn't officially supported by MathWorks.
