in windows value of namelengthmax is 63. what is value of namelengthmax in different operating systmes like linux, iOS etc?

The value of namelengthmax depends on the Matlab version only. It is the same for all operating systems.
Identifiers can have 63 characters since version 6.5, which was published 2002. Until 6.1 it swas 31 characters.
