Missing functions in live editor

In the 'code' section in my live editor tab, there is no 'controls' function to add drop down lists, sliders, buttons, etc. How can I fix this?

I am having the same issue, I'm using the 2021b version of MATLAB and the control 'control' function isn't coming up

What version of MATLAB are you using? These were introduced starting in R2018a.

Ahh thanks, i thought I was running a newer one but just realised it's R2017b
