solving parabolic PDE with a tensor c coefficient

Hi every one. I want to solve one 2-D parabolic equation with c coefficient that is 2-by-2 matrix, but the matlab accept a 2-by-1 vector, How can I solve this problem?
I appreciate any hellping.
