How do I remove an image background to show the bottom layer image

I would like to remove the green background from this image to show the boat alone on first layer image, how can I do this?

Hi

The beach and the boat are different images?

If so, you can try to load them as matrix, and overlap them.

If beach image is 1000 x 600 image, and boat 500 x 300, create a function that iterates over the beach matrix starting from point (0, 500) and replace the value i,j from the beach image for the i,k in the boat matrix only if the value in the boat matrix is different from the the green value (the value of the pixel)
