HVAC Mathematical Model Validation

Dear colleagues,

I need your experience in model validation, I have developed a HVAC system physics based model using the energy equations. The energy equations used are thermal conduction and convection alike. The model was formulated based on state space modeling concept where I ended up with 3 inputs 3 outputs multivariable model.

The question is how to validate the model? Is there any specific software that can be accepted as a validation methodology? Or do I need to have a guest house where I have to conduct so many measurements to identify the values of the model parameters.

In short, what is the simplest and reliable model validation method for HVAC system as derived above?
