Optimization using tall arrays

Hello All,

I am learning on how to work with tall arrays. I am trying to optimize a cost function developed using tall array. When I compute the cost of my objective function, it returns "NaN". So I tried using a smaller set of data (but still using tall array). It returned the expected value. In the former case, is the number too large for the matlab to display and hence it is returning NaN? I doubt that. Then why it it happening like that?

Also, If I try to use fminunc for the smaller set of data, I get an error - "Conversion to logical from tall is not possible". Can someone please guide me through?
