reading edf file to workspace

Hi... how can I load and read edf file of physionet to matlab workspace?

Hi... Isn't it necessary first to load the files to the workspace? the explanation in the link says"Reads data from ALL RECORDS of file fname ('*.edf')." I don't know what is meant by "ALL RECORDS". Please help if you know. Thanks.
