Matlab setup file not opening

I recently got my Student use Matlab version. I downloaded the software from website. However on running the setup file in the extracted folder, the window for MATLAB opens and closes immediately. On Control panel, I see the the MATLAB Product installer process running for 2-3 seconds and then vanishes. Please help me with this.

you should put the setup extract into program files file

Hi,

One main reason that this can happen is corrupt installer. Try to redownload the installer from the MathWorks website.

There are few reasons that it can happen.
