Hi, i want to ask, i have instaled Matlab and MDCS on cluster with 12 workers and the batch system is Torque.
Now if i want to use parallel computing toolbox or do some parallel task, do i need to create new Cluster Profile(choose Torque) or can i use the local profile only?

You will need to create a Torque cluster profile to submit jobs to the cluster using the direct integration.
Using local will only use your local machine.
If the direct integration does not meet your needs, there are examples in (matlabroot)/toolbox/distcomp/examples that work for different submission scenarios and filesystem layouts that use the "generic" interface.

Thanks, so im trying to validate the Cluster profile but i get error like this:
Stage: Job test (createJob)
Status: Failed
Description:The job errored or did not reach state finished.
Command Line Output:(none)
Error Report:(none)
Debug Log:
LOG FILE OUTPUT:
Created directory: /tmp/48.batch on iblade01
Executing: /shared/software/MATLAB/bin/worker
/shared/software/MATLAB/bin/glnxa64/MATLAB: error while loading shared libraries: libXmu.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
MATLAB exited with code 127
I tried to instal the libXmu, but nothing changed. Maybe i need to link somehow libraries, but i dont knoh to do that.
Please what next?
