Correllation of Different Variable

Hello Everybody,

I have never done correlation analysis before and need your help. So I have a 2 table where the first one has 9 column and second 6 column. I am wondering that, is it possible to do correllation not between 1 column and other, but for example 1,2,3 column from first and 4,5,6 from second. Can I do corellation in this way? If yes, I would be glad to have your help.
