Coax Copter Simulation Help!

Hi,

I am relatively new to MATLAB and I am trying to do a simulation project for a coax copter. I am wondering what i could start with first. There is a quadcopter project available on MATLAB and I've looked at it, but that looks very complex when you don't know the basics. Please, comment your ideas under this post.
