SNR Eye Diagram definition

The doc for commscope.eyediagram defines SNR as (L1-L0)/(sigma1+sigma0) which is the standard definition (and makes sense). The doc for the new function comm.EyeDiagram defines it as (L1-L0)/(sigma1-sigma0) which is very unusual. Is this simply a typo?
