How to solve difference equation with variable coefficients

I know if we have a difference equation in the form of a_1(y[n]) - a_2 (y[n-1]) = b_1(x[n]), where a's and b's are constants
we could solve that using filter(b,a,x)
But suppose you have somthing like (n/n+1)y[n] = (1/n+1)x[n], where n is variable, How do we solve that using filter() or any other method
