File association does not work for R2019b installed on Windows 10

Installed MatlabR2019b on a new Windows 10 machine. File associations do not work at all. Have never seen this one before. Surprised this slipped through the cracks. Is there a simple fix ?

I never had any such problems.

Use the Contact Us telephone handset icon in the upper right corner of this page to Contact Support and initiate a Service Request.

If you're referring to Matlab file associations in Windows such as m-files not openning in MATLAB or opening up in a new instance or older release of Matlab, this FEX submission addresses and fixes that issue.

If you're experiencing a different file association problem, you'll need to be more descriptive. r2019b has been out for 4 months; it has had 3 updates with the most recent being 1 month ago and this topic hasn't come up frequently enough to think that there's a systemic problem.
