How to run a script using Windows Task Scheduler WITHOUT opening new instance of MATLAB?

So I've used Windows Task Scheduler to run MATLAB scripts before, so I am well aware of this.
The problem now is that my computer has become swamped (separate problem I know), to the point where opening a new instance of MATLAB takes a very long time, long enough I guess that my scheduled MATLAB scripts don't actually run.
Is there a way, to just keep MATLAB open on my computer and send the scripts without opening a new instance of MATLAB?
