How can I run a median/low-pass filter over a Digital elevation model data in XYZ format

Hi,

I want to run a median/low-pass filter (over several hunders kilometers) over a Digital Elevation Model data which in XYZ format.

X is lon

Y is lat and

Z is the elevation.

Could you please point me in the right direction?

Hi,

I would try the following functions:

• fir1
• medfilt2
• fspecial and imfilter
