soundsc function and Matlab 2012a

Hi,

I recently upgraded Matlab from 2010a to 2012a and for some reason I'm having issues using soundsc. Before when I used the line of code: soundsc(sinewave, Fs) matlab would read the line begin playing the audio signal and continue reading through the rest of my code. But for some reason now in matlab 2012a it stops and waits until the audio has played in full then moves through the code.

I need matlab to read this line, begin playing the audio and continue reading the rest of the code so I can synchronize another stimulus with my audio.
