32 bit matlab with 64 bit excel

I currently have 64 bit matlab and 64 bit excel. I have created a stand alone program that uses actxserver to communicate with excel.there are some other stand alone programs that we want to use that were created with 32 bit matlab. If I switch over to 32 bit matlab and I recompile my 64 bit standalone program with 32 bit matlab and compiler will my actxserver stuff still work with 64 bit excel?
