Statusbar in UI designed using APP DESIGNER

I want to add a statusbar in the app-designer UI, Is there a way to do that?I had used statusbar code or jframe in the past for GUI's made using GUIDE. In the APPDESIGNER, I feel that these functionalities should be accessible by default.
