I have four data sets, and want to plot contour. Kindly guide me in this regards.

I have single data set (U-wind) which has four dimensions latitude, longitude, pressure and time. I want to average this data set over -180 to +180 longitude and -5 to +5 latitude.

I want to plot these average values on time x-axis y-pressure. Can somebody help me in this contour plot?

there is no issue about coloring.

I don't know commands to make averages on latitude and longitdes at a time.

Also don't know how to plot the averaged parameter on time as x-axis and pressure as y-axis.

Read about mean. This gives you a option of finding the mean along the required dimension. Read about it....
