I got the problem connecting encoder with PCI6221 card with real time window target..can someone help me how do setup in real time window targat matlab 2011a form this encoder input.

pic6221 -- that's a National Instruments part number, isn't it?

Which MATLAB version are you using, and are you using 32 or 64 bit MATLAB, and are you using the legacy interface or the session-based interface?

i'm using matlab2011a 32 bits, window xp and session - based interface.. with pci6221 (68pin)

i already wire the encoder to PCI 6221 pin .... where wire A - to pin 37, wire B - to pin 45, wire Z - to pin 3

+V0 and 0V encoder to supply voltage ( range 5-24 V )

and in matlab using real time window target, i drag only encoder input block scope and display block.

i set up my sampling to 0.001 solver : fixed step... input channel : 1 quardrature mode : quadruple reset input fuction : reset output data type : double

after i build and run...when i turn the shaft of encoder still no number display at display block diagram

What do you mean by "no number"? Does the display show zero? Or nothing at all? Have you tried to connect Scope instead of Display? What does the Scope show?

"no number" means that the display block digram only show value of zero, and i already connectec with scope...the scope shows street line zero.

what cause the problem?
