Model generated AUTOSAR code causes compiler errors due to header files with 'Code Packaging' set to 'Modular'

Why is AUTOSAR generated code experiencing compiler errors due to header file includes with “Code packaging” set to Modular and it is a single instance component with Per Instance Memory defined?

This could be due to to the ARXML not exactly corresponding with the code/ARXML.

Check that the ARXML is not describing things like auto-generated Simulink data structures (model_B, model_DW, model_M) as PIMs. C Code and ARXML are only generated for these Simulink data structures when using reusable code interface, not the non-reusable (single-instance) code interface.
